75 degrees with no wind   We ran 5 heats of 5 planes.  No collisions or crashes.  Ron Yoeman flew Jeff Robinsons plane in the final race and took 1st place.  Who says Ron never flies?  Hot Dogs for all.  

At end of day Jim Williams gave us a spectacular show by trimming the fence posts with his Shrike speed plane.  It hit 5 posts and left balsa ingrained into the wooden post.  Engine was over 100' from crash site.  Took 5 guys 20 minutes to find it.

Club Announcement

 

May 1st... all engines will be required to have an effective muffler

on their planes if their engines are over .25... to cut down the noise.

This is important so as to not annoy the neighbors to the West of the field and create complaints which could result in loss of field.
